How do I reduce my bulky shoulders?

Hi, I'm getting married in September and although I've found the PERFECT dress I've always had broad shoulders, they're quite toned but because I have skinny legs it makes me look masculine and I HATE it. Is there a way of specifically reducing fat around top half of body?

You can't target fat loss. Losing fat is like trying to dry out a sponge, you can't dry a corner. Broad shoulders is often due to bone structure, which is something you can't change. I'm sure the dress will look stunning anyway.1

Other than liposuction, nope. You can't spot reduce.
It may just be how your built though. So that even when your smaller, your shoulders will still be wider in comparison to the lower half of your body. I believe it's known as the inverted triangle body shape.0 -
If you can still exchange the dress, you can get a wardrobe consultant to help you pick a dream wedding dress that balances the bottom half of the dress in balance with your shoulders to change the silouette shape into more of an hourglass. For instance there are dresses with fuller skirts.0

I have linebacker shoulders too, and cute little strappy tops make them look ten feet wide and cut into my traps something awful. So I buy things that look good on me instead. Sometimes you have to work with the body you have, not the body you want.4

Broad shoulders are more of a skeletal issue. You won't be able to change bone structure.1

I used to have broad shoulders too and they made me self conscious, but it's because I'm in apple shape so I tend to gain weight up top. When I started to lose weight, it all came off the bottom and I had skinny legs and what appeared to be fat broad arms. But as the weight came off, eventually it came off of the shoulders and arms and all evened out - it's just it was one of the LAST parts to go.
Get someone to tailor the dress. There are ways around that and no one is going to be paying attention to your arms /shoulders anyway.0 -
If you're shoulders are broad, its because your skeleton is broad across the shoulders. Nothing you can do about that other than be proud of your look and seek out some fashion tips on how to dress for your body type and your personal style.
And, unfortunately there really isn't a way of specifically reducing fat in the upper body, lower body or anywhere in between.1 -

This is true. Work with the body you have and make the best of it. I have broad shoulders. I used to hate them. But they can be an asset with the right style. I can't wear certain tops but others work great.0 -
I have broad shoulders for my height - always have, even when I weighed 100 pounds. I can't do anything to make he bones shorter lol. Even if you get rid of the fat you'll probably find that they're wider than you'd prefer. I think you should find clothes, including your wedding dress, that flatter your form as you presently are. There is no guarantee that you will lose weight before your wedding, and there is no guarantee that if you lose the weight your shoulders will be to your satisfaction. If you choose a dress that flatters you now, you are sure to be satisfied on your wedding day. It's much easier to modify a dress smaller than hoping your body morphs into a particular shape for that day. Along those lines, I'm sure no one will be focusing on your shoulders, you pay much more attention to them than anyone else does0
