I personally would eat at maintenance if really concerned about putting on weight. This number is individual and slowly increasing cals until you stop losing is one way to find that number.
Your body needs to heal and it needs the appropriate fuel and nutrition to do this.

you can do whatever you want. It's likely smart to increase your calories for a bit if you feel up to eating more, just because your body will use the extra calories in recovery. However there's little harm if you just can't face eating as much for a few days either. Put your focus on your recovery from the illness, not your weight loss - if you feel better eating a little more do it. If you feel so grody that you can't eat as much, fine. As long as it isn't lasting weeks on end, a few days over or under your goal won't have much impact in the long run.

I would eat a bit more to help with your body's defense against what's making you sick. When you're sick and fighting something off, your body needs more fuel. Put weight loss on hold and focus on healing.
