Best Anniversary date? 6/19/1978, our first (which makes it special), of many, and still counting.

for our 10 year (last year), we took a little road trip to MD where we used to live. I surprised her with a small concert put on at Rams Head Live in Annapolis by the lead singer of one of our favorite bands, then we drove up to Baltimore county where our apartment was and stayed in a hotel there and visited places we used to go. Then we visited our wedding venue, and i surprised her with a photographer to take pics of us there 10 years later.

i don't profess to do a whole lot of things right. but I think i did a pretty good job with planning that whole thing. actually, i consulted a couple of my mfp female friends when making plans to help with a couple decisions.

Last year I cashed in some airline miles to get a hotel room and took Mrs. to Nashville for a short trip. We saw the Tuesday night Grand Old Opry, the new Johnny Cash Museum, and rode on the riverboat. That was the best vacation I've had, ever.

Our 25th my husband took me to a seaside town we lived in when we first got married. When we lived there we couldnt afford to do much. So we stayed in a B&B i'd always wanted to stay at, took a carriage tour, then he chartered a small yacht and took me sailing at sunset and we docked at a restaurant and the waiters served us on the boat. I'd seen people do that and thought it would be great, and it was!!! :)
