Hit me up with your favorite meal planning tips, blogs, websites etc. I'm having a heck of a time keeping my motivation up in this department and when I don't have a plan...I snack uncontrollably:/ Would love lunch ideas as well as family friendly dinner suggestions. Thank you!!!

I use a spreadsheet and fill it with meals I would like to eat and food I already have (especially focusing on perishable foods). Then I write a shopping list for what I will need until next shopping trip (I usually shop Mondays and Fridays). The individual meals are quite similar from day to day (a few setups for each and then just varying the details). I rotate my dinners through the week, so that each day has its own "theme". I keep it simple.

Start with a well stocked pantry.
Spend some time making sure you have the basics.
Cans of beans, cans of tomatoes, tomato paste, quinoa, brown rice, whole wheat pasta, etc.

Today, after being out, I was starving.
I immediately grabbed a can of low sodium v8 chased by a big glass of water.
For a quick lunch, you can always have a greens salad.
Almond butter is also a quick food on a slice of bread.
