Over my MFP fat goal

I used to only count calories and not focus much on what I was actually eating. I noticed that I would be way over my carb goal and not even close to my protein goal.

For the last month I've started to also try and hit my carb, fat and protein goals (mainly protein) provided by MFP. Ive noticed that I usually hit my protein goal or come close to it, but stay low on my carb goal and higher than my fat goal.

Is being too high from your fat goal each day bad?

No, it's fine. Saturated fat is another thing.

It is o.k. to be over on fat and even the U.S. gov said that saturated fat is not an issue.
The macros do not match up perfectly. Keep getting enough protein and fat.

As long as you haven't gone over your calories, it's fine. Many people here look at their fat/protein goals as minimums to hit.

I know. I'm not focusing on just weight loss. I'm focusing on body composition.
