I see people write that they do PPL programs 6 days a week as either PPLRestPPL or as PPLPPLRest. Wouldn't those be the same thing? Either way you're doing two rotations of PPL followed by a rest day?

Rest is programmed differently in the examples you show, if that's what you are asking. Your PPL, REST, PPL= day 1 push, day 2 pull, 3 legs with 4th day as rest between day 5 push, 6 pull, 7 legs. The latter has you doing work for 6 days straight with one rest day at the end of the week. I personally would prefer the former but it's all a matter of personal preference.0

But if you look at it in multiple week intervals you can see that, either way, you still end up with 6 working days in a row once you get into it. The only difference would be resting on Wednesday vs Saturday I think:

There is an implied rest day at the end of PPLxPPL, some people just omit it. It should be written as PPLx.
PPLxPPL = PPLx = PPLxPPLx1 -

PPLxPPL = PPLx = PPLxPPLx
Aha. That's what I was missing then. When I see PPLxPPL, I think of a 7 day week since that is all that is listed. Your explanation makes sense though.0
