my UP jawbone band doesn't count calorie burn well

I understand that MFP calorie burn is somewhat high...But I seriously think my UP band is off. It will tell me I burned 71 calories in a zumba class or 400 on a 2 1/2 hour hike when MFP puts me closer to 400 for Zumba and 800 for a hike that long. It's super discouraging to be dripping sweat and panting to be told I burned 71 calories. Anyone else have this problem?

I had a Nike FuelBand, and it gave me almost twice the number of calories that I had actually burned. I now have a FitBit Flex, and it gives me a better estimate. But if you want the best estimate possible, you really need to invest in a heart rate monitor. They cost less than any of the fitness trackers.0
