Burning calories off the next day??

Hi everyone! So I have a question that's been bothering me recently. Everyday I usually eat 100 calories or so over my calorie goal, but because I can only add food into my diary at the end of the day, there is no time to exercise the excess calories off. The next day, I go to the gym and burn them off instead. Is this okay to do, or should I burn them off the day that I eat them? Thanks!
