Pasta/rice weight in database is cooked or dry?

Is the serving size info on the pack for dry or cooked weight? I assume it's dry, unless otherwise stated. For example, I had 75g (dry) of thin spaghetti at 265 calories but it just seemed like too much food to me? Or maybe my stomach is shrinking since it is my 24th day eating smaller portions!

It will usually say 1 cup cooked or 1 cup (150 grams) or pasta may say cooked 2 ounces.. It is usually in parenthesis. The entry will say for example "Rozini Wheat Pasta 2 ounces cooked" (or something like this) if you put grams in the search the drop down will usually contain an 1 gr entry and you can enter it in grams if you want grams instead of ounces.

Do a search for "pasta cooked grams", or "pasta dry grams"..either way is fine.

I do mine in cooked and grams and search for cooked so that I can take a portion of the cooked put it in a bowl weigh it.

Others will do something totally different but this works for me on precision.. put bowl on scale, tare out scale, place cooked rice/pasta in bowl in (grams for me) then under the entry you have chosen, enter the number of grams you put in the bowl.

I have always seen 2 ounces (56 grams) dry on packages of pasta.

I usually use the barcode scanner to get the most accurate nutritional info for the exact product I'm eating. Usually when I do that it won't say if it's the dry or cooked weight. The box doesn't say dry or cooked either. Should I just assume that's the cooked weight so I don't risk over eating?

Same. And it's usually around 200 calories.

Thanks all for confirming! I know it was kind of a silly question but I wanted to make sure I wasn't overeating.
