My strange little NSV

I don't weigh myself, only measure so all my victories are no scale, but this is the first one where I really had to smile to myself. At my largest I realised I lost my armpits.. ..weird right? There was no longer an indent it just went from arm to side and if held my arms straight out to the sides there was no definition of an armpit, just flab. Today I was doing my hair in the mirror and thought.. wait a minute.. is that?... IT IS!! I have armpits again! I know it is really strange, but to me it was the first time I felt like I was getting myself back.

i know the feeling. I'm happy to see the little ribs on my chest, above my boobs, not sure what you call that area. And the collarbones...

My hands are starting to look old though, makes me sad

I've heard that ares referred to as the "xylobone", but it's pretty much just the upper sternum. I love that area, too! And OP, I know what you mean. I was psyched when I didn't have a fat roll over the armpit on my leotards

pinch the skin on the back of your hands...
DOes it stay up and take a while to go back or does it spring back instantaneously?

If it stays up, you need more hydration.

My hands are the same way. I'm hydrated but my body decideds on where the fat will fall off from. My viens pop out and I'm fair skinned so the blue road maps are at least fun for the kids to race thier cars on.

congrats, and way to go for measuring rather than weighing, i know so many who thrive that way and im always excited to hear another person use this strategy with success

Funny how those silly things make us sing!

I have 2 (and thanks for making me think and celebrate!)

My 'top belly' is gone  I have this little pouch of fat up top (or DID!) and when it is gone, it means I am on my way. Well I realized yesterday it is gone WOOT WOOT>

The other one is underwear :blushing: I bought 2 bags about 5 months ago of a size I thought I wore. When I got home I could barely get them on, and the other bag...........well just forget it :embarassed: Made me sad and frustrated, but also made me realize I had put back on 15 pounds of the 35 I lost.

The 8 pairs fit perfectly and one set are actually getting loose. WOO HOO!!!!

Armpits and underwear. We're a bunch aren't we?  :drinker: :drinker:

I always had ugly wrinkly fingers, hydration or weight doesnt matter... family trait...... but I gotta share on the underwear NSV.... my daughter gave me a Victoria's Secret gift card... bought cute panties instead of my normal granny panties.... put them on & I though I was being cut in the upper thighs....

because of busy holiday weekend I didnt wash clothes over the weekend... yesterday I pulled out the cute panties & they FIT!

nope pops down... i just have old looking hands when I'm thin. I have long "Mr Burns" fingers so the tendons show more easily. A small sacrifice for a better life.

Oh good, it's not just me then - I had someone from work ask how I was going and if I could see any changes, and my answer was "There's an extra wrinkle in my armpit fat!" Yeah, they thought that was weird, but it's something **I** notice :) Hopefully soon enough the fat will disappear from there entirely!

It's easier and there is more room for me to use the seat belt in my car. There is chocolate cake in the fridge and I forgot about it. :)

I like these stories and it is the little things that keep us motivated. My NSV is starting to see the difference in shape, particularly around the bra and dimples (hip/leg and knee) so happy when these started to look less lumpy
