Hi everyone. First off Happy Memorial Day. Today I am having a hard day staying discipline. I am BBQ brisket, but I am having a hard time not munching on the goodies. What does everyone do during this temptation?

I drink water and eat celery and a few carrots. Chew gum and have coffee to dull your appetite.1

Enjoy the brisket. Not sure what your goals are but one bad day in a a month is not going to destroy any work you've done. What you have to remember is this is a long-term Journey not a short Sprint.
Couple of weeks ago I went to a street festival with my kids. Pigged out on Great Food Truck food had a couple beers enjoyed myself. I even scarfed down the roll my daughter had that she didn't want that had all the pulled pork juice. God it was good . Since then I'm down at least five pounds.1 -
Honestly, I live it up during this weekend because it's also my dad's bday. Enjoy your life and then worry about eating healthy the day after Memorial Day. One day enjoying food you love isn't going to hurt.
Look up Kale smoothies, they have lowered my high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and weight. I haven't felt this good in 2 years. I've lost 40 pounds so far with this method, along with walking 3 miles a day. All I do is walk on the treadmill at 3.7 mph. From 300lbs to 260lb. Walking is the only exercise you really need to do. It's working for me anyway.
As far as the smoothie, all you need is a blender and the ingredients. 5 cups of Kale, banana, apples, and some carrots (peeled). Tastes good once you get used to it. Have a good one ☀️0 -
