Losing weight while toning up

I have about 19 more lbs to lose before I hit my first goal weight. I'd like to start toning up while still losing the weight. What's the best way to go about that? Thanks!

    Toning is essentially a fancy way of saying weight training because that's what you need. Although you can do some body weight exercises, the best results come from a progressive weight lifting program.

    Very wise to start doing this now. :smile: To get everything firming up you need to start strength training. The little light weights won't cut it. Lift weights, and lift em heavy. That will really start improving your shape. Look up some beginner weight training programs.
