Macros

I never really paid any attention to my macros since starting and mainly just focused on eating within my calories range. I've started doing really well with keeping in calories and now I am ready to start hitting my macros. Usually I am no where near in protein, fiber, or potassium. I unfortunately eat a lot of empty calories and always have just stayed within my calorie limit. Does anyone have any tips for hitting macro goals? I am ready to start laying off empty calories, but at this point I know a lot about calories and nothing about the actual nutrition in food. Any advice?

Potassium isn't always listed on labels or includes in entries. It's likely you're getting enough, unless you have signs of electrolyte imbalance.
Many people struggle with protein and fiber. Some add protein and/or fiber powder supplement to a shake or eat supplement bars, so they don't have to change their actual foods.
But you mention eating empty calories. Maybe split the difference? Make your snack/treats also supplements? If they don't cause you cramping, I find the fiber one bars tasty. For protein, maybe Greek yogurt or cottage cheese mixed with something yummy? I don't really know what your "empty" calories are or how far off you are from your macro goals, I'm just trying to suggest snacks/treats can also help you meet your goals.0
