Frequent Travelers Out There?

Good morning MFP buddies!

Anyone out there a frequent traveler? I fly/travel about 3-5 days a week. While it is always an adventure, it is very tricky to stay healthy on the road, but I manage the best I can.

I was looking for any suggestions for snacks/interim meals you could suggest while I am chilling in the no tell hotel. Right now, my fridge has protein shakes and bars, cottage cheese, turkey pepperoni (weird craving), grapefruit, and apples. Any other suggestions for foods that I could pick up after my flight to stock my mini fridge?

Also, any suggestions for snacks to bring with my in my suitcase prior to the flight would be much obliged. Just remember the TSA does not like liquids, puddings, or protein powders :-)

Thank you!

HI - yeah me - I am based in Australia but travel internationally spending about 50% of my time away from home - and have done for more years than I care to remember - my diary is open and so happy to be friends and share ideas ... Donna

Fly days are largely anything goes for me (BC internal is my reward for good behaviour any other day), I commit to working out more on the road than at home to make up for the lack of control over diet - I learned how to find time in my travel days to get the workout in which was a major challenge - but it was a good thing in the end which stopped me working 18 hours a day when I was away. :D
