Replacements for water are just water with additives. Maybe just do one of those Mio drop things? o-o I thought we only needed to drink two liters, huh.0

Ooooo what's a mio drop thing? Don't know saw on the news we should be drinking 3 litres a day and I was like I definitely am no where near that0

Keep a bottle next to you, this will help you increase the uptake. Also I try green tea, milk, fresh juices, all high in water which will get you there.
By my opinion 3L is a huge quantity, start slowly until you reach it
You might not even need the 3L daily0 -
Ok sounds good! I mean when I train I drink nearly 3 litres of water today is just when I don't really! X0

Water flavoring. You add a small squirt. Mio is just a well-known brand of it. I do prefer just throwin' some lemon in my water, though.1 -
I had a doctor tell me that everyone is different. I will give you a link on a good article from Mayo Clinic. It says 2.2 liters of fluid for most women and 3 for most men.

There is no conclusive study indicating that you should drink 3L daily. No one is discussing the importance of water, however there is also studies showing a significant impact on macro nutrients depletion with high water intake.
For me, your body is the perfect indicator, once you are starting to feel thirsty, drink one cup1 -
Everyone is different. My husband are both highly active, healthy individuals, I (115 lb woman) drink 5-6 L of pure water per day, this is not in addition to herbal teas and other beverages. My husband (190 lb man) drinks 1 L, at best 1.5 L, of pure water per day, the only other thing he drinks is coffee. Sometimes people can mistake thirst cues for hunger cues, so keeping your fluid intake up can help with that. Signs that you are not getting enough fluids are if your urine is very concentrated or you are getting headaches frequently, or are thirsty, etc. Otherwise you don't have to force yourself to drink just to meet some magic number. I feel better when I drink a lot of water throughout the day, but I have probably conditioned my body overtime to require this much. Oh, it also helps decrease bloating.1

It's a myth that you have to drink 8 cups of water daily. Some need less & some need more. This is highly individualized & will vary depending upon activity, weather, etc. Also the amount of water you consume, includes what's in your water dense (cooked) foods as well; such as: soup, pasta, rice, oatmeal, etc.0
