So I just walked for 60 minutes, for probably about 3.5 mph. Fitbit calculated that I burned 380 calories. I am a 162 pound, 5' 3" 22 year old woman. This seems way off. What do you think?

When I punched in the generic MFP 3.5 mph walk for me at 6'0" and 173 pounds - it was only 298 calories. Seems like the fitbit might be close to accurate.

There was just an article I saw that said fit bits weren't accurate. I forget the details as to why or how. Google it

Why do you think it's inaccurate? Remember, all calorie burn numbers are estimates.

I've actually read from many sources it is very accurate.

the HR monitor on a few of them are off by 20-30% when doing high intensity work outs, which would probably be the same for most other HRM thats what they are saying is inaccurate.I have a charge HR and its like 5-7 BPM off compared to checking my heart rate manually while resting so.
