The pic on the left is an old one from about Nov/Dec 2011. The one on the right was about a week ago. So far I've lost roughly 47 lbs from my highest pregnancy weight of 210. I started mfp in May 2015. Lost a good amount, gained it back during my pregnancy, lost it quickly after, and kept going. I am down to about 163 (weight fluctuates). I have 23 lbs to go before I reach a "normal" BMI :-)

Have patience and don't give up. Slow and steady wins the race :-)

Good job!! So after the pregnancy, how long did it take you to lose the weight? What was your regime?

Thank you :-) I had my baby in January of this year and at the end of February the pregnancy weight was gone. I always joke about what I like to tell people about what my "diet" was or what worked. I tell people I was on the "had a baby and breastfed diet" Lol. On a serious note, I only gained approximately 30 lbs during pregnancy and lost it quickly after. My baby was a preemie and we were in the nicu for about a month after 3 hours away from home. I had HELLP syndrome (severe pre eclamsia). I can honestly say that breastfeeding played a big part in losing the prepregnancy weight and the weight after. The other part was the stress I think. When we came home, I started using mfp again which included weighing all my food on a food scale, logging accurately, staying hydrated and some exercise. I say "some" because there are times when I have gone 2 or more weeks without exercise. But when I do, its mostly walking 20-30 min 3-5 times a week. Other exercise has included circuit training dvd, stationary bike, just starting to jog, and I am just starting to do some basic strength training (crunches, push ups, squats, etc.
