For those of you who are struggling don't give up it's a very difficult thing to change former bad habits. I have been logging out for six months and finally it's becoming a way of life and something to look forward to. It finally clicked. Don't give up. Keep logging. Keep trying. Give yourself time. The rewards will be so worth it.

I'm personally finding it hard, I'm buying practically the same foods all the time when I go shopping out of habit, so tonight, I'm going to look up online for the same type of meals that you can make easily at home to make it that little bit easier as me and my child eat the same, so I can't change our whole diet, but I will do what I can to make it healthier for the both of us, I don't want him to end up with excess weight like me1

I was doing the same thing and still have the tendency to do the same thing during shopping for groceries. Habits become ingrained. What really helps me is a blog on the newsfeeds and so many unbelievable healthy low-calorie incredible recipes so that is a new direction for me and hopefully for you also. Keep logging !!!1 -

The key is not to give up. I tried hundreds of diets and everyone of them failed because it restricted me. And I don't deal with being told what to do very well. I also researched experts plus I have an eating disorder's therapist in my family. The key to successful dieting is no restrictions of the foods you love. And the only way to do this is through counting calories. I go through the same thing. I think of a delicious dessert I would love and my first response is no you can't have that. then I remember with counting calories I can have it and it makes all the difference in the world. The reason diets fail is they are not working for us. The key then is to ask yourself why. What isn't working. Too restrictive? Not able to enjoy the foods we live? Are we s bit of obsessive compulsive ? I am. And now I recognize how to change directions. Where before I could eat an entire bag of kettle chips or cookies in one setting. I just accept it as who I am. No guilt. It's all about learning about your temperament and what works and what does not work for you. Whatever you do, don't give up, it will click for you keep trying keep logging and keep reaching out to others. It is NOT as complicated as we make it.0 -
I really is not as complicated as it seemed to me 5 months ago. You'll develop new habits of shopping and dining out and cooking. But it's not complicated. This stuff is easy.0
