Calorie Adjustment Question

Hello! I am relatively new to this site (but I love it!). I am currently doing weight watchers and I log my food in to both places everyday. I know it is tedious, but I don't mind. I actually prefer MFP as it breaks down the nutrition for me, but at the same time, I do like WW because it gives a point value and makes me think twice before I eat. Anyhow...after this longwinded intro...I'm just curious..I've lost about 10 pounds and I've already "lost" 3 points from WW. I guess it automatically just took those points away from me. (jerks ;) !!) Does MFP start taking away calories from your daily allowance or do I have to do something manually?

Thank you!!

I believe if you log your weight and update it in the settings it will reduce your calories. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/change_goals_guided

I think that it should prompt you to adjust your goals after every 10 pounds lost if you aren't using custom goals, but it doesn't adjust your calories automatically.

I am just learning how this all works, so I am not sure if I have a "custom goal" or not. I am assuming that I am not since I don't remember putting anything other than wanting to lose 2 pounds a week. Thank you for replying!

Update: I just went into settings and didn't change anything, but I hit submit and it took 60 calories away. BOO!

Same here. Back down to 1200 calories to lose a pound a week. :( Being short sucks!
