I've lost about 15 pounds in 53 days or somewhere in the 50 I want to lose another 15. Should I eat on a maintence diet for awhile and then go back to losing weight?

Entirely up to you and what you feel like doing. My only recommendation is that you continue to log so you don't start letting those maintenance calories turn into gaining calories.6

If you eat at you real maintenance you will not lose weight! 53 days is only 7 weeks which in the grand scheme of things is a short period. I would say carry on in a deficit till you reach your new goal. If you mentally feel drained then have 1 or 2 days at maintenance and then continue.0

You do realize that you're not going to lose weight if you eat at maintenance, right?
If you want to continue eating at a deficit and lose, do it. If you don't, don't. No one here is going to tell you what you should do.0
