Hi, everyone says how breakfast is the most important meal of the day, however I can't stomach the thought of it until 4/5 hours after waking up, which makes it nearly lunchtime. Is it really bad if I don't eat breakfast but instead have a fuller lunch? Im not into salads and like to bring my own food in so make tuna or chicken sandwiches, ha ha like a child! But I enjoy them. and then have a carb free dinner.
Any ideas on making breakfast more appetising or do you think its ok not to have it if im not hungry? thanks all x

It doesn't matter when we eat just how much we eat and keeping at deficit if our aim is to lose.

Some would say the body's metabolism only rev's up when with eating breakfast but its not necessary. Do what suits you, if you enjoy a bigger lunch, then go for it  , stay within your daily calories and you will lose.

I always enjoy eggs for breakfast, my go to is poached eggs on toasted granary bread (with butter of course  ).

If you're not hungry for breakfast, then don't eat it. Often, if my morning is free, I will exercise (I get sick thinking about exercising on a full stomach. Blegh!) and then slowly eat breakfast 2-4 hours after waking up and then eat a late lunch (if I am up at 4AM for clinicals, then I'll eat breakfast right away regardless of hunger, because I might not be eating again until 3-4PM if I can't squeeze myself away for lunch).

Why are you trying to go carb free for dinner? Unless you have a medical condition that is exacerbated by excess carbs (diabetes, PCOS, etc) or you simply find that carbs leave you hungry and make it easier for you to overeat, then there's no reason you need to limit your carbs at dinner.

All I have is milk in my coffee for breakfast.
Some people just can't eat much. Don't sweat it.

There are sites that state to eat breakfast.
This is because some people will "graze" until lunch.
The grazing can consist of junk foods.

I'm high "good carbs" and losing weight.
Lentils, beans, quinoa, barley, wheat bran cereals, brown rice, even sweet potatoes.
Avoiding junk carbs is really hard but worth it.

thank you all. I just feel worse forcing something down.
I have the 'evil carb' lecture still in my head so I'm trying to eat them and not feel guilty about it, slowly but surely, at lunch its not so bad but dinner time, if I even look at a sweet potato I feel like im sabotaging my days work, its very silly as im in allowance but its really hard to shake off especially as everything you read is about carbs
