Yet another diet soda question....

Hi Everyone,
I am considering giving up diet soda. It is truly my one vice. I don't drink coffee or eat a lot of sweets. I also don't think it is a trigger drink for me or cause me to crave sweets. I usually get one 32 oz diet soda at the 7-11 in the mornign and drink it in the AM and then fill that cup for the rest of the day with water. I usually fill it 5-6 times minimum.
I know it is bad for me but what I am really wondering is if I stop drinking it, will it help reduce belly fat along with my regular exercise routines. That is where I carry most of my extra weight. I am trying to clean up my diet even more than it already is since they saying goes "abs are made in the kitchen" or whatever it is.
If I give up diet soda, all I will drink is water since I don't drink juice or milk or coffee or tea.......
Thoughts??

NO, it won't do anything at all. Other than some controversy over artificial sweeteners there is no reason not to drink diet soda as far as weight loss goes. The saying that abs are made in the kitchen refers to your calorie intake.0

Giving up one 32oz diet soda per day will have zero impact on your belly fat.0

If this was actually true I would have gained weight instead of losing 65lbs0 -
Unless you have some sort of medical condition that reacts with something in the diet soda, then no giving up a 0 calorie drink is not going to magically get rid of your belly fat.0
