So I had a baby in September. I was on bed rest and gained SOOO much weight...65 lbs to be exact! I managed to lose 42 of it so far...I have been overall positive about my wieight loss until recently. Two things happened. I saw a pic a friend posted of me on Memorial day weekend that I looked SO incredibly fat in and the fact that once I got into the 160 range my body just stopped losing weight, as a matter of fact I have done everything increased my work outs and eating so much better and the scale just keeps going from 160 to 164lbs back and forth...lose some gain some...Im just so sad about this.

You gained a baby and lost 42 pounds! Focus on the positives, my dear. You may hate the photo of you now, but look at it as motivation. In a month or two, you'll be able to use that photo to see how far you've come. Keep at it, you can do it!!!

What you have accomplished is incredible! Losing 42 lbs with a baby is amazing. I don't have children and struggle to find time to exercise (mostly because I hate it lol). Don't let a picture discourage you! Any picture from the wrong angle can portray you in a negative light!! It's just a picture! I am sure you're feeling healthy. This is probably just a small setback/plateau. You are doing great!! Hang in there!!

I understand how frustrating it can be, but try to look at the big picture (no pun intended). So far you've done AMAZING. Just keep up the hard work, of course it's worth it.

If you've been using this site to lose the weight, you may need to go back into your settings, at which point MFP will adjust your calories for your new weight, giving you a new deficit to stay within. people around here recommend doing this every ten pounds or so, since as you get smaller, you need fewer calories.

164 is actually my goal. I've lost 65. I have 148 to go. How do you feel physically? I already feel better. Don't be controlled by the scale!
