Enjoy strength training?

Do you enjoy it? Have you always? What exercises do you like?

I have a suspension trainer (like TRX) that I enjoy but I enjoy it for like 10 min lol. I've tried free weights, kettle bell, exercises using your own body weight (like sit-ups and push-ups etc.) and I just don't love any of them. I've always enjoyed cardio more and I find it hard to stick with something I don't enjoy.

I'm going to keep pushing cuz I know I really need it but I'd love to hear what others like or how you started to like it!

I used to love cardio, but since I've been lifting for the past 2 years I can't stand the thought of LISS cardio. I prefer HIIT (when I have to). I think you just have to find a workout that works for you. I have done Jamie Eason Livefit trainer and this is when I really found my passion. I think I have lost more inches and gained significant strength (mental and physical) since I started lifting. Feel free to add for support!

If you don't like it, find something you do like. No one can stick with something they don't enjoy. Life is too short.

I hate it with a passion. I make myself do it for 20 minutes twice a week but to be honest, I often don't bother at this point... I don't want to build muscle frankly (yes I'd love to lose some of my stomach fat but it's lost in the middle of loose skin anyway, and I don't want my arms to get more muscular, so it's a no win situation at this point), I can't be bothered to stick to a routine that would make me gain muscle even if I wanted to, don't have the patience for recomposition, would never be able to cut again if I decided to bulk and cut (if I could, I would actually have reached my goal weight), and I'm not eating at much of a deficit at all nowadays (been maintaining for 2 years) so it's not like I'm going to burn a lot of muscle either.

I mean, I tried. For 3 years. And I did some of it while I was losing... but now I'd much rather hop on my stationary bike, or hit the treadmill or the sidewalk.

Didn't like it at first. Was "scared" of that feeling of heavy weights and failure. After a couple months though, I started enjoying it. Now two years later I absolutely love it.
