After follow up, more reading, etc.. my apologies on protein shake and meal replacements question

I came today to ask about making protein shakes as a possible mean replacement for breakfast or lunch.... after alot of reading, it seems that this just isn't conducive in what i need. I am fearful that a"shake" that would essentially replace a meal would be very calorie heavy... and that isn't what i need. I needed a shake that could bridge that gap in a more convenient way for me. Thanks for info all... i had no idea that there was a great deal of difference in the 2.
