I am a 64 year old retired engineer who has been using MyFitnessPal to track my meals, exercise, and weight loss for a longtime but has just recently posted to the website. I have been losing weight for slightly over a year now and have lost a total of 177.7lbs, although only a portion of that is reflected on MyFitnessPal because I did not access the system immediately at the beginning of my journey. My goal is to lose over 200lbs and I will not stop until after I hit my goal or slightly beyond my goal. I am just now beginning to reap some benefits of my weight loss. All sports are now easier for me, especially my favorite, tennis. Three blood pressure medications that I had been on are now reduced to one small dosage and I am hoping by goal time to be off of that also. MyFitnessPal enables me to track my proteins, carbs, exercises, and water intake which has helped tremendously with my weight loss. It keeps me focused on what I am eating and the portion size. The system is great!
