The older we get, the more our bodies develop an ironic sense of humor. I found a single strand of hair growing out of my shoulder today. One! I once had one single hair growing about a half inch below my hairline on my forehead. It's like it was mocking the rest of my hair, "Remember when we ALL hung out down here." There's no stopping it. It's like humans version of melting glaciers. Like @TheRoadDog kind of said, embrace the suck. Make it yours and own it like no other. It's who you are.

If I had as much hair growing from my scalp as I am now growing from my ears, nose, eyebrows and chest, I'd be a freakin' Beatle.

All joking aside, though, if I had two pills at my disposal and one would bring my hair back and the other would render me bald, so I didn't have to shave the "fringe" I'd choose the pill to be completely bald. This has been the way I looked for the past 4 decades. I like it. And, believe me, my wife loves looking down and seeing her reflection off the top of my head.

How does promoting your hair growth fit in with the whole "keeping me humble" thing?
