Hi - I'm a month & 2 days NEW to MFP

:bigsmile: Started this journey of habit change on May 4th, but came to MFP on May 26th. As the old saying goes - it takes 21 days to commit to a new habit and I am COMMITTING to many new ones like - daily aerobics, strength training and burning fat , NOT starving it! In these past 5-6 weeks I have lost 4 lbs of weight, GAINED 4 lbs of muscle and dropped 4% body fat! And I am elated but sweating my butt OFF - literally!
* Would enjoy communicating with other "50 - Somethings" who are in it to win it by reshaping our minds & bodies to enter our 60s full steam ahead!
* I joined a center here in my town with Super staff, knowlegdable licensed dietician, personal trainers/coaches, weekly menus, 14 hours of available assisted gym work- strength training, aerobics, step, yoga, you name it AND I go there once or twice daily! I am changing my life - one meal & one work out at a time!
* I am currently 178 lbs, 45% Body fat, (!), 5' 7" and my goal is to reduce body fat % to 28 THIS YEAR of 2010!
