Twitching muscles

Hi! I've been working hard on my quads strength recently (amongst other things), but I've noticed for the last six days I've been getting incredibly annoying twitch in my left quads muscle. I don't seem to be able to do get rid of it, and I've also noticed some mild twitching in my left calf muscle and my abs aswell. I'm cutting out caffeine today to see if that makes any difference, but I was wondering if anyone else has experienced the same and what you've done about it... And did it help??

I have had twitchy muscles before. I eat something with potassium, like yogurt or a potato as well as some magnesium. I take Natural Calm in a bit of water but you can get magnesium in food too. Works great!
High magnesium foods include dark leafy greens, nuts, seeds, fish, beans, whole grains, avocados, yogurt, bananas, dried fruit, dark chocolate, and more. The current daily value (DV) for magnesium is 400mg.
Healthy high potassium foods include beans, dark leafy greens, potatoes, squash, yogurt, fish, avocados, mushrooms, and bananas. The current daily value for potassium is 3.5 grams. Hope that helps...1
