Can anyone recommend a good scale to buy in the UK please?? Not looking to spend lots, just one that you can zero and is accurate please.

No suggestions for actual models, mine is old and a bit annoying!
Based on the sources of the annoyance, I would recommend getting one big enough that you can put a dinner plate on it without the plate obscuring the display and that the buttons aren't too close together.
I'm frequently changing mine from grams to fluid oz, when I meant to press zero, because the teeny tiny buttons are so close together! Terrible design but I'm too stingy to get a new one!0 -
If anyone finds digital scales WITHOUT an auto-off feature let me know. Worst. feature. ever.2

Cook's Illustrated magazine suggested this as a good budget scale.

I have a flat Salter one also. Had it for a few years and it's not let me down yet. It does however get annoying when the plate covers the display like someone says so if I need to weigh a plate I first put a bowl down, set it to zero and then put the plate on top. This way it's higher up and you can read the display without ducking down to peek under the plate.1

I use my Weight Watchers food scale, it's very accurate. You can find them cheap on eBay.0
