Depends on how thirsty I am. Some days I drink 10 glasses. Others I may only have 4. Most of your fluid requirements are met thru food. If I feel like I'm dehydrated then I drink more. I also make sure to drink fluids when I'm working out.
There is no minimum requirements.0 -
I drink on average a gallon a day. I find it helps me keep hydrated through even the most strenuous workout sessions. Also, I tend to develop bad headaches if I drink 8 glasses or less a day. With my activity level, I need to drink plenty of water. Pee color is also a good indication. go with what your body needs. Thirst and pee color are the best indications.0

So many variables - how active you are, how hot the weather is, how much salty food you've eaten, and your overall fluid intake. Personally, I know I feel better if I have around the recommended 8 glasses a day, but I pay attention to my thirst and my pee color. If it's light yellow to nearly clear, I'm good. More yellow = need more water.
totally agree with the above..for me its all about pee color0
