Hi everyone! My name is Tricia I've been logging my calories for 16 days in a row now, and I can't seem to go more than two days without a "cheat day".

I'm wondering, if I'm under my calorie goal for the day is it okay to go a little over the next day? Is there some kind of total net calories for the week?

All input is appreciated!

    You aren't a gremlin; there's no midnight reset. :)

    Yes, it's okay to look at your goal as a weekly thing, and allow daily variance. Some people do better with variety; some with consistency.

    If you're feeling binge-y multiple days a week, a less aggressive calorie goal might work better for you.

    If you are using the app there is a way to see your weekly avg.
    Nutrition -> calories -> weekly -> net

    I do recommend going to settings and selecting a start day for your week. If you don't it's a rolling avg. With this if you are really under say Wed and then over on Sat, when Wed falls off the avg it will tell you that you are over for the week. Not a huge deal but if you are trying to save calories for a special occasion or just to have one high day a week it can make things a bit confusing to have days constantly falling off.

    You should really try not to have the mind set of I ate really well one day I can cheat a little this day. For successful weight loss and to keep it off try and hit your goal. When feeling like you need to cheat a little there are small things you can do to help with the crave. If you want more info let me know.
