Juicing advice and recipes

I found an awesome deal on a juicer--I keep hearing great things about juicing so I'm going to get it!
I've never juiced before, does anyone have advice?
and please, share your favorite recipes!!!

I've been juicing daily for about 6 mos & I'd tell you all the gifts, but you'd just think I was selling you something.

Juice small samples of everything before you go gonzo. Not everything you like to eat, taste good w/o skin.

Try variation, you may surprise yourself.

    My base juice is this:
    1/2 bundle of Kale
    1/2 bundle of spinach
    1/3 bundle of cilantro
    4 carrots
3 oranges (apples if I want variety)

Added fruit as it goes on sale (love strawberries & kiwi)

When working with bitter vegetables you can offset the bite with citrus fruit.

For calorie indexing I use this site:

My favourite juice is a simple Carrot Orange Ginger. Just play with the amounts to taste how you like it. I use four large carrots and five oranges and a chunk of fresh ginger. I like a lot of ginger in mine.

I'll also juice vegetables to make soup stocks or pasta sauce. I use the pulp to thicken the sauces.
