Binging Help!

I'm seriously having a problem with my midnight munchies and can't seem to get back on track.
Recently, my sister and I made a batch of cookies at 3am (which wasn't very smart), and we both completely annihilated the tray. Ever since then I've pretty well lost control. Help!

I've tried going to sleep early - I just can't seem to manage it, I get too restless. I guess I could just try and stare at my ceiling until I fall asleep?

Get up at a reasonable time in the morning, then you won't want to stay up till 3am.2 -
Hi! I also have struggled with eating late in the evening. It can be really hard to break the habit, but what I've found helps me personally is exercising later in the day. I'm more of a morning person, and run earlier in the day. But if I notice myself getting "munchie" say around 8 or 9 pm I will go for a walk or jog around the block. Nothing hardcore, but it's easier to stop myself from eating if I feel like it would cancel out any of my exercise.
Also when I find myself bored late at night or wandering into the kichen to make a snack at 3 a.m. (hey, we've all been there) I find it's good to talk to myself rationally. (e.g. "How are you going to feel when you wake up if you eat half a platter of cookies right now? Is it really going to benefit you in any way??")
Another thing that helps is giving yourself a treat, but setting a limit that you WILL NOT go over. (e.g. I am going to eat two cookies on friday nights. Because I've been working really hard, and it's good to let myself eat a small treat occasionally.) The trick is to eat the two cookies (or whatever treat it might be) and then dispose of the leftovers. You could give them to a neighbor, or donate them to a local church service... something along those lines.
Maybe next time invite your sister for a nice 3 a.m. stroll around the block instead of a cookie-making adventure.
Hope this helps you a bit. Hang in there, and don't beat yourself up too much. You can do this!!!!
Wishing you the best of luck!
