Could constipation show on the scale?

It's been about a month since I've weighed myself and while I've had a few slip ups this month, I was still projecting to have lost at least 1lb or 2. I weighed myself tonight and my weight was still the same as it was last time. The past two nights, I've been constipated. Could that be showing on the scale? Do you think it's possible I did lose a little bit of weight but I'm not seeing it due to having to use the bathroom? Is needing to go to the bathroom significant enough to show on the scale? Also, I'm about to get my period. Would that show on the scale as well?

Thanks. :)

Not sure about constipation, but weight mostly does fluctuate a lot around the time of periods. It could be that.

Yes, but unless you've been backed up for a long time it should be minimal with a healthy diet.

I agree, water retention would make more of a difference.

Some people can lose 1-2kgs after their morning constitutional .

This plus your periods being due would be a doubly whammy in the weight department.
