    Belly fat and bloating are 2 different things. To reduce body fat, eat in a deficit. To reduce bloating, try eliminating certain foods that cause it.

    When was the last time you went to the gyno? Tell your doctor about this.
    * I had fibroids.

    Maybe you have a food allergy. I'm allergic to soy and citrus fruits. When I eat them I look 4 months pregnant.

    I noticed when I decrease my protein powder for my protein shake I am less bloated. Also I increased my fats for each protein shake (2x a day)

    You were probably just firmer in high school so the same weight looked different. I know my tummy is softer than it was even ten years ago at the same weight, gravity I suppose having its way with excess body fat! I think you just need to keep losing body fat at this point, that last picture doesn't look like bloating to me though it's hard to tell from a picture.

    The last picture I took early in the morning and wasn't bloated at that time. Also I have been lifting heavier than usual and have been on ketosis since April 21st. So many things can be causing me to feel bloated on some days.

    for me fibroids were only detected by ultrasound. have you had one of those done? if not ask for them to do one to rule it out.

    To reiterate though, bloating is not the same as body fat. They are two separate issues. The picture without bloating shows you still have some excess fat there, if you want to look leaner it's simply a case of losing more weight until that reduces some more.

    The bloating will be due to some other thing, as has been suggested, either something in your diet that doesn't agree with you or something else. That's something you can address with some elimination methods, particularly if the bloating occurs after eating and/or asking for an ultrasound (though that would never be my port of call ever, it;s an interesting cultural difference there).

    the ultrasound would be to rule out fibroids. that can cause bloating too. but then so can many other issues with the female reproductive system. nothing wrong with ruling things out though

    Yes I had one in 2014 that consisted of multiple cyst. Second ultrasound in 2016 showed ectopic pregnancy which caused massive gas and bloating. I had surgery in February. I read other blogs that stated that the gas from the surgery takes awhile to leave the body.

    not to be totally off the wall or in outer space. I learned a friend who is a "clean eater" had a minor bout of intestinal parasites that came back as negative on the first 2 tests... I guess b/c either there are cycles with these things or they tested for the wrong ones? Anyway, her bloat is gone... as well as the passengers. No she never traveled and honestly? I would say she is very clean person and health conscious person to the endth degree.

    sad part is anyone can get parasites. which is why its best to wash what foods you can and properly cook all others. you dont have to travel to another country to get them,its easier than you think to get them and they can cause all sorts of health issue. they tested me for them years ago when I went to a lung specialist for asthma. they can mimic asthma he told me
