Will lifting change your ring size?

This may be a crazy question but I need to know if I start a lifting routing (thinking about doing strong lifts) will it change my ring size. I've lost 60 lbs and my wedding ring is way too loose. I need to have it resized but I don't want to have it reduced and then have a lifting program cause it to be too small. So, I guess the question is will lifting ultimately cause a bit of muscle gain in the fingers and will that be enough to worry about going forward with my fitness program.

weight loss will cause your fingers to be less fat.0

There's little to no muscle on your fingers - the motion is all tendons attached to muscles in your forearm (with the exception of the pinky, which the muscle lies on the side of your hand). All you'll lose is fat, and your fingers will only get smaller.0

Nothing has changed my ring size...not even my three pregnancies where I got to be 230 lbs +. I am 153 now and they fit the same. I think you will be fine having them fitted now.0

Another option might be a ring guard? They're pretty solid/reliable, and if later you need the ring expanded again for any reason, you can just take the guard off and return to status quo...0

Losing weight and/or reducing your body fat percentage will definitely make your fingers smaller.
I would hold off on getting it resized.0 -
weight loss will cause fat everywhere to lessen (even your fingers) but they have temp. ring snugs that you buy at most walmarts / kmarts / targets that will let you wear your rings until your at goal weight then you can get the ring resized. I have a set for my wedding set and mothers ring without the hugs my rings fall right off0
