Beginner strength trainee

Hey everyone. I am fairly new to the whole strength training program (female, 22, 57kg) and was wondering if anyone has any insights on how to go about it. I have been incorporating it in my gym routine with cardio and just really like it (I work out everyday for about 1-1.5, doing a bit of both every time). How do rest days work? What about nutrition? I eat at a deficit now as my goal is 55 kg (so about 1200 calories and sometimes a bit less) but I want to build muscle. Finally, any routine suggestions? Really looking forward to all of your suggestions!

Do you eat at maintainance? And how long do you usually spend at the gym with that? From what I have been reading it looks like it's a fairy short one0
