    Try balfours
They're all much of a muchness.

IGA is a south Aussie store, the majority of members here are American.

I'm actually shocked that there are IGAs in Australia. I live in the states and we have many IGAs in my area. Wish I could help you, but I don't buy pie and even if I did I doubt our pies would be the same. You might have better luck using google images and trying to see if you recognize the wrapping from the photos.

Definitely foodland you're mixing up with because there are IGAs in the ACT as well. We also have Supabarns.

Try balfours or Gibbs, they are similar calories anyway

Or Mrs Macs, Villis (there's a good SA one for Christine), bakery pies etc. I think any of them would be pretty close. Or you could ask your IGA staff what brand pies they are, many IGAs are relatively small businesses so they might be more helpful than places like Coles or Woolies.

And there's IGA and Foodland in WA too :)
No Farmers Union iced coffee though!

    I don't know why you'd be shocked.

We also have Woolworths and K-Mart ... but they are completely different from North American Woolworths and K-marts. Different company entirely.

Anyway, I suspect you read the word "pies" and thought ... apple, blueberry, cherry, chocolate cream, etc. ...

Or did you think meat pie?

If you're in Victoria, it could be Four'N'Twenty ... or maybe Sargents.

But now you've got me thinking about pies. I haven't had one in ages!!

When I was over there earlier this year I walked into a Target and found a food section. And not just lollies and chips, but milk and drinks and frozen foods and microwave meals and suchlike. Imagine my shock!

As to what to use, my go-to would be Mrs Macs or Villis. Never had a Balfours pie. But damn that Mrs Macs Cheese and Bacon...mmm.
