Just Can't See It!

I've lost 60 pounds, I have gone from a size 22 to a size 10. Why is it when I look in the mirror I can't "SEE" the weight loss. I feel amazing, I have tons of energy, and love to workout, but the mirror is my worst enemy.. What's the deal, has anybody else experienced this? Does it go away? Will there be a awh moment when I can finally see the results.

I am in a similar position - I need physical verification to feel like I'm losing weight: a belt, clothes, comments from others. Standing in the shower? I feel like I've lost nothing at all. I think our bodies are so used to themselves that our own eyes have trouble noticing subtle changes, and weight loss is very subtle. I think it's one reason why a few people on here still reach for their old sizes in the store even though they've lost a crazy amount of weight, some over 100 pounds. I don't know when or if it goes away - I haven't reached that point yet.0
