Since starting lyrica I havent exactly been regular. Weight went from 188.6 to 188.8. No big deal. It'll come back down. Few days later still not regular and weight us up to 192.6.

I know this isnt actual weight as my waist is still the same size and I didnt eat as many calories as would be necessary. It all came in too quickly, but this time the weird thing is my face is also puffy.

I dont recall ever having my face look a but puffy when this "gain" came on.

Is this normal or could it signal that this maybe actual weight gain?

Did your Dr. give you info on the side effects of Lyrica? I only ask because it was like pulling teeth to get my Dr. to give me details about side effects of the thyroid stuff he prescribed, or even when/how to take it - like not to take the multivitamin I take for FOUR HOURS after, or not to take any calcium related foods for hours! A side effect of Lyrica can be: swelling in your hands or feet, rapid weight gain.

I would call your Dr.'s office and make them give you full disclosures and side effects and how to take the dug.

I know all the side effects. My question was more if the sudden weight gain could be actual weight gain or if it could be just from not being regular. Even if weight gain is a side effect that, to me, seemed like a lot to gain that quickly.

Does anyone know how accurate it is to weight yourself the day after a workout? My weight today dropped to 187.0. My normal weight is 188.6. I always wondered about this, but always forgot to ask.
