Insulin and Weight Loss

Is anyone else on Lantus and trying to lose weight? I started a couple weeks ago and have lost 7 pounds so far. However, it seems to have slowed some this week. I am keeping my calories around 1200 to 1300. Would love to hear from other diabetics on Lantus.
