Is it bad to not eat the calories you gain from exercising that day? I would like to try and stick to the 1200 cal goal, but should I be eating the additional calories that I gain from exercising... Will it effect the rate that I lose weight, will it make me lose weight slower or faster, etc...

It may affect what you lose: fat vs. muscle. Running too large a deficit can encourage your body to break down your muscle mass along with the fat in order to get the energy it needs. It can also affect your body's hormone levels and overall health. Unless you have a lot to lose (100+ pounds) I would suggest eating back at least half of the calories you earn.0
