Hey all. Is anyone else tight lacing whilst exercising? Tight lacing is a form of body modification where you use a flexible steel boned corset to modify your waist. I currently have a mesh (breathable) heavy duty waspie that I wear 24 hours a day with a break between days. Is anyone else out there doing tight lacing? If so what exercise are you doing whilst wearing your corset?

no, please don't
you are conflating corsetting with exercise
corsetting, when done for body modification purposes is a lengthy and somewhat dangerous process whereby you move internal organs to effect what is inevitably a short-term body modification - when done over significant time there may be long-term damage
corsetting when done for fashion is just a fun approach to figure modification
a proper corset, measured and fitted will cost you hundreds
wearing a corset during exercise is contraindicated - even the elastic ones - what they do is make you sweat (which may temporarily result in some inch reduction - until your next drink anyway) stop you engaging your core and remove any effectiveness from any exercise programme in terms of core progression6 -
Nooooo
honey, eat at a calorie deficet and continue to work out to shape your body. Those things are so dangerous!
