Hi everyone,
I'm thinking of getting a fitbit to see how hard I really work during my workouts, and to be able to log more accurately.

if I workout wearing my fitbit, does it download on to my iPhone exactly how many calories I burned? and even better, can I sync it with the myfitnesspal app so it shows up in my activity for the day?

I'm looking at the Fitbit Charge.

It will not be your exact calorie burn but the fitbit does account for your height, weight etc. I have the Fitbit Charge HR - the HR being the heart rate one which i highly recommend if you are looking for a more accurate view on how hard you are working out. The heart rate aspect will also help with estimating the calorie burn. It will never be exact.
It syncs to my Iphone and you can set it up to sync with My fitness pal. I recommend it. It is a good indicator at best.

Someone posted a video recently comparing HR monitors. In order of accuracy they were:
    1. Microsoft Band 2
    2. Apple Watch
    3. Fitbit HR
    4. Garmin (I forget which model)
If you end up with the Fitbit keep that in mind.
