exercises that flatten lower belly and thigh fat

I have been using myfitnesspal for about a year now and have made awesome progress...lost 10 pounds, then gained 6 or 7 pounds but it looks like muscle weight cuz I've been exercising 3 times a week, seeing my clothes fitting looser and I've slimmed down a lot of back fat,got no more love handles and lost a lot of arm and shoulder fat. I now am focusing on losing fat from my lower belly and getting rid of fat off my thighs..what are exercises or things I can do to even out the fat loss in my body? I'm content with how the rest of my body looks except my lower belly and leg fat but if the thigh fat is just a genetic thing that I'm stuck with that's fine but if I can get rid of it I'd like to reduce the fat if possible. Anybody have any tips on what I can do ?

You cannot target fat loss. Losing fat is like trying to dry out a sponge, you can't dry a corner of it while the rest is still wet. Continue to lose fat and you will eventually lose from those areas. Some form of resistance training will ensure you have the firm "toned" look when the fat is gone.1
