Don't agree with my trainer

Today after my run and workout, my trainer says to me, "ok, you're done". I got really confused and said "done with what"? and she replied "no more losing weight...you're done. Time to maintain". I don't agree with her but respect her as a professional and her opinions. I'm not sure how to handle this. Suggestions?

Can you provide us with a little more background? How tall are you, what do you weigh?2

Suggestion #1: Explain why you don't agree with your trainer. IOW: what are your stats, and why do you seem to think you need to lose more weight?1

Yes, the first 2 posters are correct: WHY do you not agree with her? Do you have body fat left to lose? Is this her usual training method? Seems a bit abrupt or bossy. I'd not take it well if someone TOLD me what I was going to do or not do, trainer or not. I speak up right then and there. But, we can't be of much help without further info.1

I'm 5'7" and about 155- 157 and have a larger bone structure. I realize she is being conservative but I'd really like to get to my goal of about 10 or so more pounds. I'm a distance runner so for me leaner is better but I also weight train regularly so I also have built alot of muscle (in a good way). I started my weight loss journey at my largest I was 240 so I do have alot of skin that I know I won't ever lose without surgical intervention (which isn't every happening) and I think that is her concern that I see the skin as fat.0

Ask her to explain why she thinks you shouldn't lose more.
If she's basing it off body fat, what method is she using to calculate body fat and why did she select that specific amount?
As her to explain why losing 10 more pounds is "bad" in her opinion?
It may be time to move on without a trainer.0 -
Does your medical doctor agree....if they think you are healthy and will still be healthy dropping 10lb more then time for a new trainer if they can't explain a heck of a lot better than you're done.0
