What foods/drinks to have to fight off a cold?

I've noticed symptoms of the cold edging on to me and I was curious to see if anyone has some tips on immune boosters?
I plan on have a shot of wheatgrass and plenty of fruit everyday, but I need some more ideas.

i start taking vitamin C right away around 3000 to 4000 mg a day to help me recover faster it helps a lot and drink a lot of water0

Lemon water. Just drink a lot of citrus .. no OJ unless it is
water with real orange slices. Lemons are excellent IMHO.0 -
