When I lost too much weight, I used to sit on the couch at night and eat as much ice cream as I wanted. I also worked out (cardio and weights) so not all of the gain was fat. I made sure to get plenty of fruits, vegetables, and protein the rest of the day. So yes, I think it is ok to eat junk, as long as you get your nutrition in too.0

It sort of depends upon what you call "junk". For instance some individuals will call the Nonni's Thin Addictive and the Kind Bar of my workday eats to be "junk" because they came from a factory and a global distribution system and were sold by Wal-Mart. Some individuals will call a banana junk because it's all sugar and carb with no protein. If I desired I could add a Hershey Kiss to my workday eats and stay within my calorie goals. Again, what is junk to you? Once you get a digital scale and understand the nutritional value of a food item, you can rationally determine if and how much of it you want.0

This thread has a good combination of nutrient dense and junk type foods. Pick some of them and eat enough to gain.0
