Need support

I am four days into this and already went over on calories. Sure could use some support on the psychology behind eating. It's sooooo frustrating. Looking for all the friends I can get! I want help and I want to help others!!!

Don't worry about going over calories for one day. In the big picture, it won't make a difference to your weight loss. For example, if you set your goal to lose 1lb/week, you are eating 500 calories per day under what your body needs to maintain the weight. If you overate by 200 calories today only, that means that over the week, you will still lose almost a pound (3300 calorie deficit instead of 3500).
The thing to take away from this experience is the awareness of having eaten above your limit. Awareness of your habits will keep you in control of your situation.
Also, examine your food diary for today. How did you eat? Enough protein and fat? Too little can leave you hungry.
Do you "eat back" half of your exercise calories? If not, you are undereating. MFP's calorie allowance is without exercise. You're meant to "eat back" your exercise calories in order to fuel that workout. However, most find that posted calorie burns are rather high, so eating back half is a standard. It ensures both fuel for your workout and keeps you within your calorie limit.
Lastly, what is your weight loss goal? Is it too aggressive? If you've set your goal to lose 2lb/week and only have a few pounds to lose (under 50), your goals are too aggressive.

Hang in there. You've got this.
